Asharqia Chamber extends its warmest greetings to you. We inform you that it has received a letter from the Saudi Chambers Union number (45101331) dated (20/3/1445H), referring to the letter from the National Center for Plant Protection against Plant Pests and Diseases number (1000662) dated (17/3/1445H), attached to the supplemental telegram number (232473/104922/144), which includes the decision of His Excellency the Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Center for Plant Protection against Plant Pests and Diseases, regarding the ban on importing equine species from the Oriental Republic of Uruguay due to the contagious equine anemia disease.
It is worth mentioning that His Excellency the Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Center for Plant Protection against Plant Pests and Diseases issued a decision number (5067770) dated (2/3/1445H), lifting the temporary ban on importing equine species from the Republic of Uruguay.
