Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards, and informs you of receiving a letter from the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (43104689) dated (8/11/1443 AH), in which it is indicated that the Federation received the letter of the Ministry of Commerce No. (28913) dated (5/11/1443 AH), which includes a letter Saudi Standards, Metrology, and Quality Organization No. (3555) dated (10/29/1443 AH), regarding the meeting of the Authority’s Board of Directors No. (184) dated (28/8/1443 AH), which includes the adoption of the following technical regulations:
Technical Regulations for Escalators and Moving Walkways
Technical Regulations for Child Safety Carts and Chairs
As these regulations have been published in the Official Gazette and the authority’s website, and they will enter into force and mandatory application as of (22/4/1444 AH) corresponding to (16/11/2022 AD), and coordination in this regard can be made with the Director General of Technical Regulations in the Authority, Eng. Sultan Al-Shehri, mobile (0535151003) and e-mail (ss.shehri@saso.gov.sa).
