Greetings,
Asharqia Chamber extends its best regards to you, and informs you that it has received the letter of the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (45508386/27) dated (29/3/1446 AH), which refers to the letter of the Ministry of Commerce No. (9718) dated (26/3/1446 AH), regarding what was received by the Ministry from His Excellency the Secretary of the Follow-up Team for the Implementation of Specifications and Technical Regulations at the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization dated (18/9/2024 AD), which included that in the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Organization No. (201) dated (27/6/2024 AD), the update of the standard specification No. (SASO 2971:2024) for towing and transporting trucks for vehicles included in the technical regulations for equipment and supplies for private-use vehicles was approved, and since this regulation was published in the Official Gazette and the Authority’s website on (23/8/2024 AD), and will enter into mandatory application after (180 days from the date of publication).
