Asharqia Chamber presents you with the best greetings and would inform you about receiving a letter from the Saudi Food and Drug Authority No. (33756 / GS) and dated (4/7/1439). It referred to the laboratory tests carried out by the Authority on imported poultry meat and poultry products from the Republic of Brazil, which confirmed the contamination of poultry meat products from the BELLO ALIMENTOS LTDA facility, which bears the accreditation number 3409, whose contamination of Salmonella. In order to ensure the health and safety of the consumer and to protect the safety of meat exported to Saudi Arabia, and as a result of the violation of the limits allowed in the GSO 1016, the Authority decided to suspend the importation of poultry meat products from the facility (BELLO ALIMENTOS LTDA) that holds this accreditation number (3409), and allowing the import of raw chicken only.
