The Chamber presents its compliments , this is to inform you that we received a letter by the Council of Saudi Chambers No. (ش.غ/74), dated (6/1/1436 ) referred to the letter of the Ministry of trade and industry (No. 267/9/1/7062) dated (26/12/1435) referred to the ministerial decision No. (267/1/1/673) dated (13/07/1435 ) on infant subject to the provisions of rules management caterers in extraordinary conditions and to determine the maximum prices, the ministerial decision No. (267/1/1/722) dated (29/07/1435) to item (iv) As follows:
• each producer or importer of the infant formula to the price printed in the country of origin on the packaging directly visibly and prominently to the consumer as it cannot be removed.
• Paragraph (vi) of that resolution, giving companies a deadline date (1 -12- 1436 ) implementing item (iv) of the resolution. The Ministry stressed that all importers and manufacturers of infant formula for putting price on the packaging that the price printed on the package to be on the deadline by the expiration date in the same font size and non-removable.
