Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards and informs you that it has received the letter from the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (44504437) and the date (10/19/1444 AH), in which reference is made to the Ministry of Finance’s letter No. (38775) and the date (9/9/1442 AH), The directive directed to government agencies, regarding the launch of the financial claims service from the private sector through the "Etimad" platform, for contracts and circulars with the reference number registered on the platform, and activating a mechanism to follow up and escalate them, submitting periodic performance reports in the event of delay in finalizing financial claims procedures, which includes confirming the specialists in government agencies to complete the necessary regarding claims that will be filed by the private sector - such as issuing receipt reports, completion certificates, etc. - following the terms and conditions specified in Article (109) of The executive regulations of the Government Tenders and Procurement Law, and the issuance of exchange orders according to the system.
Whereas, the Ministry stated that the service of raising financial claims for contracts and authorizations through the “Etimad” platform will be stopped from government agencies, and this service will be available to contractors, suppliers, and contractors with government agencies only, starting from the date (10/25/1444 AH) corresponding to (5/15/2023 AD).
