To/ Importers of chemicals
Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best greetings, and would like to inform you of the letter of the General Authority for Ports - King Abdulaziz Port No. (16/6/18034) dated 16/8/1440, which is concerning what was noted during the last period that some traders import dangerous chemicals without obtaining prior clearance from the competent authority (High Commission for Industrial Security). It is therefore a clear violation according to the rules and regulations.
Hence, all concerned parties can import any dangerous chemicals only after obtaining prior clearance by the competent authority to avoid any consequences for importation without it.
