The Chamber presents its compliments, this is to inform you that we received a Saudi Council of engineers letter (18851-m-35) dated (10/6/1435) (April 10, 2014), containing the intention of the Organization of the Forum of FIDIC contracts in cooperation with Razin cognitive holdings and which will be held from 19-21 may 2014 in the Meridien Hotel, Al Khobar.
The Forum is important in clarifying the role of the contracts of the International Federation of consulting engineers (FIDIC) being the types of contracts that have been adopted to avoid the problems facing engineers in construction contracts as a result of the evolution of the industry and the need to find a contract basis prior to overcome problems encountered in the implementation of those contracts and that affect the contracting process with the projects.
From here the Forum Organizing Committee was keen on choosing experts in business and consulting engineers as well as experts to discuss major developments in decades, also there will customize a workshop for participants of training new Saudi contract based on the ideas of FIDIC contract and discussed the pros and cons.
