• Saudi Technical Regulation for Bread Production

    Asharqia Chamber presents its best greetings to you, and would like to inform you of receiving the letter of the Council of Saudi Chambers (L / N / 1432) dated 13/6/1440, which referred to the letter of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority No. (40046 / p) dated (18/5/1440), which indicates that bread products are one of the most consumed in all countries of the world, however, it may also be a major source of salt consumption in daily food.

    Therefore, to avoid what may be caused by the consumption of food products containing high amounts of salt of health problems such as hypertension and cardiovascular disease, the Authority issued a circular on compliance with the Saudi Technical Regulations (requirements for bread production).

    The Authority also hopes companies to comply with the requirements for the production of bread.
