• Registering private entities in the National Data Governance Platform

    Greetings,

    Asharqia Chamber extends its best regards to you, and informs you that it has received the letter of the Federation of Saudi Chambers of Commerce No. (45511243/1) dated (5/8/1446 AH), which refers to the Federation receiving the letter of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority No. (3941) dated (5/3/1446 AH), which includes the Personal Data Protection System issued by Royal Decree No. (M/19) dated (2/9/1443 AH), and amended by Royal Decree No. (M/148) dated (9/5/1444 AH), which stipulated in the fourth paragraph of (Article Thirty) of the system: “The competent authority, in order to carry out its tasks related to supervising the implementation of the provisions of the system and regulations, shall take the following: ... C- Determine the appropriate tools and mechanisms regarding monitoring and following up on the compliance of control entities with the provisions of the system and regulations, including building a national registry for this purpose for control entities”, and whereas the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority launched the National Data Governance Platform, which includes a number of services Electronic and auxiliary tools, including the private entities registration service, to enable the controlling authorities to comply with the provisions of the system and the executive regulations.
