Regarding positive tests for pesticide residues
As a result of the positive tests for pesticide residues for samples of the Chili from India, all new imports should have acertificate from an official body stating that thepesticide residues areWithin the maximum allowed in accordance withMaximum Residue Levels(MRLs) or the European Commission (Codex). This will be applied 60 days after 1\4\1434 corresponding to 11\2\2013.
