Greetings,

Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards and informs you that it has received a letter from the Council of the Saudi Chamber No. (42100489) and the date (3/2/1442), in which the letter of the Food and Drug General Authority is referred to No. (2848 / P) and the date (28/1/1442) containing reference to Authority circular issued under No. (2934 / a) dated (25/1/1441) regarding the start of receiving applications for licensing factories and warehouses of local medical devices and products and giving a deadline before the date (10/1/2020), based on what was stipulated in Article 15 of Provisions of the executive regulations for the control of medical devices and products issued by the decision of the Food and Drug Authority Board of Directors No. (1-8-1429) dated (12/29/1429). Therefore, the Authority wishes to remind all factories and warehouses of local medical devices and products of the need to obtain a license to practice activity before The deadline has expired, noting that it will not allow any factory or warehouse to conduct its activities nor market its products inside the Kingdom after the specified date unless all the requirements of the authority are met, and the authority has published the investor’s journey, forms and requirements for licensing factories and warehouses on the authority’s website icon (customer’s journey).
