Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best greetings, and informs you of receiving the letter of Saudi Food and Drug Authority (30370 / GS) dated (19/6/1439). It referred to notification No. 273 / G / SPS / N / SAU dated 4/9/1438 (corresponding to 30/5/2017), which informs about the SPS Committee's requirements of food's importation to the Kingdom, including the approval of the Kingdom's exporting countries and establishments.
In this regard, the Authority would like importers to provide the Authority with the names of the establishments from which they import milk and milk products from the Arab Republic of Egypt. All required information and information should be sent to FEIS.Food@sfda.gov.sa.
It should include (the Name of establishments, accreditation number, address, activity) in order to enable the Authority to consider its approval of the list of establishments approved by the Authority for the exportation of milk and its products. All the approved establishments would be published in the list of establishments approved on the website of the Authority, which would be restricted to importation only and would not be authorized to release products from others establishments after (1/6/2018).
