Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards and informs you that it has received the letter of the Council of Saudi Chambers No. (42103187) and the date (3/25/2021) With reference to the Ministry of Commerce letter No. (40106) and the date (9/8/1442), attached to the telegram of His Excellency the President of the Royal Court No. (3183) and the date (11/6/1442), based on His Excellency's telegram No. (8868) and the date (2/17/ 1442), regarding the availability of information about counterfeiting the Saudi currency, and generous guidance to approve what the Council of Political and Security Affairs saw by approving the opinion of the Supervisory Committee in Minutes No. (8369) dated (4/24/1442 AH), on the subject, including The Saudi Central Bank, in coordination with the Ministries of Commerce and Finance, notify all Saudi banks, institutions, and companies about this, and informs the competent authorities in a timely manner, in accordance with the approved procedures.
Due to the importance of the issue, the Council hopes that the institutions and companies will take caution, caution, and strictness in carefully examining banknotes of all kinds and categories.
