Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards and informs you that it has received the letter from the Federation of the Saudi Chamber No. (44102451) and the date (17/6/1444 AH), regarding the letter of the Ministry of Commerce No. (21240) and the date (15/6/1444 AH), Correspondence to the telegram of His Excellency the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Center for the Development of the Non-Profit Sector No. (92986) The date (6/8/1444 AH), and reference are made to the Noble Royal Decree No. (35283) and the date (6/6/1443 AH), which includes limiting the collection and receiving of used clothes in authorized NGOs, and as a continuation of coordination and cooperation between the National Center for the Development of the Non-Profit Sector and the Ministry of Commerce, And in an effort by the center to organize the activity of collecting used clothes with the relevant authorities in the non-profit sector, and referring to the continuous monitoring of the violation of containers for collecting used clothes, and based on what has been monitored that some companies and commercial establishments collect used clothes from the public directly and without a license.
Accordingly, the federation hopes that the relevant stakeholders and commercial institutions that practice the activity of recycling clothes will not collect used clothes from the public directly based on the above-mentioned royal order, except cooperation that takes place with civil societies licensed by the National Center for the Development of the non-profit sector to practice the activity.
