Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards and informs you that it has received the letter of the Council of the Saudi Chamber No. (42103222) and the date (3/24/2021), concerning the letter of the Food and Drug General Authority No. (22275 / p) and the date (9/8/1442 ) including containing a skincare product named "Health & Beauty Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay" containing a high percentage of bacteria as well as containing arsenic that exceeded the permissible limit as impurities in the list of safety requirements in cosmetics and personal care No. (SFDA.CO/GSO 1943: 2016 Whereas exposure to high levels of bacteria and arsenic may cause health risks to the consumer, and because of the importance of emphasizing that all establishments that engage in the activity of dealing in cosmetic products prevent the sale of the indicated product and return it to its suppliers, as well as the importers and distributors of the product must withdraw it from sales outlets and warehouses and coordinate with the authority - Operations sector - to destroy it to avoid penalties.
