Asharqia Chamber extends its best regards to you, and informs you that it has received the letter of the Federation of Saudi Chambers (45509621/1) dated (21/4/1446 AH), which indicates that the Federation received an urgent telegram from the Ministry of Commerce No. (12836) dated (18/4/1446 AH) regarding the telegram of His Excellency the CEO of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority No. (18886/10) dated (21/10/2024 AD), which includes the immediate notification issued by the World Organization for Animal Health (WOAH) dated (28/3/1446 AH) corresponding to (1/10/2024 AD), which states the outbreak of Newcastle disease in the (Podlaskie) province in the Republic of Poland, and the issuance of the Authority’s decision No. (17689/10) dated (12/4/1446 AH) corresponding to (15/10/2024 AD) regarding imposing a temporary ban on the import of meat Poultry, table eggs, their products and equipment from the (Podlaskie) province of the Republic of Poland. Poultry meat, table eggs and their products that have undergone a heat treatment that is sufficient to eliminate Newcastle disease are excluded from this ban, provided that they comply with the health requirements, controls and approved standard specifications, with the attachment of a health certificate issued by an accredited body proving that the product is free of the virus or has eliminated it.
