Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best greetings, and would like to inform you of receiving the letter of the General Authority for Ports-King Abdulaziz Port No. (16/6/12957) dated (16/6/1440), which referred to the letter of His Excellency the President of the General Authority of Ports No. (1/1/45840) dated (30/5/1440) that is attached to the decision of the Board of Directors of the Authority (20 / C / 2 / D 1) dated 25/5/1440 on the approval of the amendment of the wages of container-handling for customs disclosure for a period of one year starting from the date (1/3/2019), to be as follows:

First: The handling fees for the customs clearance of the incoming containers shall be adjusted as follows:
-Transfer container by station trailers to the radioactive customs inspection area.
-Transfer the container after the completion of the customs inspection by radiating to the storage area.
-Transporting the container which does not require customs inspection to unload its contents to the delivery area.
-Handling Fees in the event of a customs clearance request, the contents of the container shall be unloaded and returned to the container if the goods inside are filled in such a way that their contents can be unloaded and mechanically returned with the cargo handling equipment.
Second: The following handling fees shall be added to the previous point:
Container (20) feet or less | Container (40) feet or more |
(750) riyals | (1000) riyals |
In the event of a customs clearance request, the contents of the container shall be emptied and refilled, in which the goods inside shall be filled in such a way that their contents cannot be unloaded and returned with the Unpalletized Equipment as follows:
Third: The handling fees of incoming containers are empty for Customs clearance.
