Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards and informs you that it has received the letter of the Council of Saudi Chambers No. (42503192) and the date (9/8/1442), concerning the letter of the General Authority for Ports No. (1/60/17476) and the date (24/7/1442)Based on the letter of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture No. (373331/1254/1442), which includes that the import of animal and plant varieties must be accompanied by prior import permission from the (Anam Plus) platform or (Hasad) for the attached items.
Accordingly, the General Authority for Ports confirms that beneficiaries are obligated to obtain a prior import permit from the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture (Anam) platform for animal consignments and (harvest) for plant consignments, or through the Ministry’s website before shipping the consignment to the Kingdom to ensure that the consignments are not rejected upon arrival at the port, as well as not ship animal and plant consignments to the Kingdom and accompanying the passengers, except after making sure of the presence of an import permit issued by the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture to dispatch these items.
