Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards and informs you that it has received the letter of the Council of Saudi Chambers No. (42101000) and the date (5/3/1442), in which it is referred to the letter of the General Authority for Food and Drug No. (6528 / P) and the date (5/3/1442 AH), regarding the continuation of incidents Mortality due to the wrong mixing of ionophores by some feed factories with camel and ruminant feed and the effect of this on animal health and thus on food security and where the authority reports the following:
Banning the use of ionofor compounds in feed plants that have only one production line for camel, ruminant, and poultry feed.
Determine the poultry production line and allow the use of ionophore compounds in it only in factories with multiple lines.
Permission to use ionofor compounds in factories that produce only poultry feed.
Whereas, the authority will grant a deadline for the feed factories to adhere to the circular until the date (12/30/2020), and the implementation of the above procedures will be followed up during the period of validity of the granted deadline and the application of the regulatory procedures after the deadline expires.
