Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards, and informs you that it has received the letter of the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (4311643), dated (17/4/1443 AH), regarding the union’s receipt of the letter of the Public Transport Authority No. (3411/43/1) dated (16/4/1443 AH), And referred to in the letter of the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization No. (1062) and the date (1/3/1443 AH), which includes the agreement of the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization with the General Traffic Department to start periodic inspection stations by verifying the conformity of truck and trailer barriers to the requirements of the technical regulation for front, rear and side barriers For trucks and trailers through the distinctive number of the barrier located on the barrier itself, as well as the start of monitoring violations and applying penalties as of (1/1/2022 AD) corresponding to (28/5/1443 AH), And providing the carriers with a list of facilities approved by the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization for the manufacture and installation of truck barriers, trailers and their locations, in addition to the distinctive number card form for the barrier.
