Measurement and calibration system and its executive regulations

Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards and informs you that it has received the letter of the Council of Saudi Chambers No. (42102511) dated (6/22/1442) concerning the letter of the Saudi Organization for Standardization, Metrology and Quality No. (6489 / p) dated (19/6/1442) the implication is that the authority, by the measurement and calibration system issued by Royal Decree No. (M / 51) dated (11/13/1434 AH), is working to implement the National Program for Standardization and Calibration, "Tagyees", which is one of the Authority's initiatives within the Kingdom's National Transformation Program (2020) to improve services and field investigation operations in the field of legal standardization and ensuring fair trade in commercial exchanges.​

​Accordingly, the Council affirms that commercial establishments (gas stations, commercial, food and supply centers, and gold shops) must adhere to the measurement and calibration system and its implementing regulations.
