The Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards, and informs you that it has received the letter of the Union of Saudi Chambers No. (45504884) dated (10/27/1445 AH), in which reference is made to the Saudi Health Council’s letter No. (1-29255) dated (6/10/1445 AH), regarding the issuance of a decision. Executive Council for Professional Practice No. (2/1/23) dated (3/8/1445 AH) approving the list of subspecialties of human medicine, which relates to the following:
Applicant applying for a new professional classification.
Any qualifications in sub-specialties or sub-specialties outside the approved list can be studied and accepted by the Authority as recognition of the qualification only to be included in the practitioner’s record.
The title of the qualification or certificate for classification or recognition is listed in its full name in the professional register, which can be used by recruitment committees, clinical privileges, and others.
Accordingly, the Federation hopes that specialists in health facilities will work on regulating the professional classification nomenclature for the subspecialties of human medicine. For more information or clarification, specialists can contact the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
