Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards and informs you that it has received the letter of the Union of Saudi Chambers No. (45505191) and the date (11/18/1445 AH), in which reference is made to the letter of the General Ports Authority No. (1/31/70/27172) and the date (6/11/1445 AH), It includes what was stated by the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Authority in letter No. (3278) dated (10/29/1445 AH), and attached to it is a list of (20) vehicle manufacturing companies that did not commit to submitting the supply plan for the year 2024 AD within the specified time frame, and a request to prevent the entry of new light vehicles. The weight does not exceed (3.5) tons received from these companies temporarily until these companies submit their supply plan for the year 2024 AD, and at a maximum by the end of the current year. You can also view the list that will be updated periodically based on the companies’ response through the electronic portal for energy efficiency. (www.sls.gov.sa).
