Lifting the temporary ban on the import of poultry meat and eggs from Poland

Greetings,

Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards and informs you of receiving the letter from the Food and Drug General Authority No. (8400/p) and dated (6/4/1444 AH), and based on the authority’s follow-up to international reports related to food safety in the countries of the world, and based on the immediate notification report issued by the World Organization Animal Health (WOAH) On (2/23/1444 AH) corresponding to 9/19/2022 AD, which states that highly pathogenic avian influenza has been controlled in the Wielkopolskie district of the Republic of Poland and that there is no new outbreak of the disease in it. 

Accordingly, the authority’s decision No. (7760 / s) was issued on (29/3/1444 AH), to lift the temporary ban imposed on the import of poultry meat, table eggs, their products, and equipment from the Wielkopolskie district in the Republic of Poland, due to the outbreak of highly pathogenic avian influenza.
