Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards and informs you that it has received a letter from the Food and Drug Authority No. (710/p) and the date (9/1/1444 AH), in which reference is made to the Food and Drug Authority’s follow-up to international reports related to food safety in the countries of the world, and a reference to the results of the visit of the team Technical Authority of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the minutes of health and technical requirements signed with the Kazakh side, And based on the immediate notification reports issued by the World Organization for Animal Quota (WOAH), according to which FMD has been controlled in the Republic of Kazakhstan and no new outbreaks of the disease have been recorded there.
The Food and Drug General Authority would like to take note of the issuance of the Authority's Resolution No. (121/b) dated 3/1/1444 AH regarding lifting the temporary ban imposed on the import of beef and sheep meat from the Republic of Kazakhstan.
