Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards and informs you that it has received the letter from the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (44104377) and the date (18/01/1444 AH), which refers to the letter of the Food and Drug General Authority No. (25069 / p) and the date (10/13/1444 AH) based on the data of the World Organization for Animal Health (WOAH) stating that foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) is under control in the State of Kuwait and that there is no new outbreak of the disease in it, and after referring to the recommendations issued by the World Organization for Animal Health contained in Article (8.8) of the Animal Hygiene Code Land, which indicates the possibility of lifting the ban.
We inform you of the issuance of the authority’s decision No. (24451 / Q) and the date (29/9/1444 AH) to lift the temporary ban imposed on the import of beef and sheep, their products, and equipment from the State of Kuwait.
