Gentlemen/importers of beef, veal, sheep, and goat meat and their products and equipment

Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards and informs you of receiving the letter of the Food and Drug General Authority No. (28630/p) and dated (23/11/1443 AH), which includes international reports related to food safety in the countries of the world, and based on reports issued by the World Organization for Animal Health ( WOAH) which states that the Federal Republic of Tanzania is free of foot-and-mouth disease (FMD).
Accordingly, the authority informs you of the issuance of Resolution No. (28501 / s) dated (21/11/1443 AH) to lift the ban on the import of beef, calves, sheep, and goats of all kinds (chilled, frozen, and canned) as well as all their products and equipment from the Federal Republic of Tanzania.
