Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards and informs you that it has received the letter from the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (44104378) and the date (10/18/1444 AH), in which it is indicated that the Federation received the letter from the Food and Drug General Authority No. (25070 / p) and the date (10/13/1444 AH), Which includes the data of the World Organization for Animal Health (WOAH) stating that foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) has been controlled in the Orkhon region of the Republic of Mongolia and that there has been no new outbreak of the disease there, and after referring to the recommendations issued by the World Organization for Animal Health contained in Article (88) of the Health Constitution Land animals, which indicate the possibility of lifting the ban.
We inform you of the issuance of the Commission’s Decision No. (24452 / Q) dated (9/29/1444 AH) to lift the temporary ban imposed on the import of beef and sheep from the Orkhon region of the Republic of Mongolia.
