Gentlemen/ Importers of Poultry Meat and Table Eggs

Asharqia Chamber extends its best regards to you, and informs you that it has received the letter of the Federation of Saudi Chambers of Commerce No. (45511263/1) dated (5/8/1446 AH), attached to the letter of the Ministry of Commerce No. (14837) dated (5/4/1446 AH), which includes a reference to the telegram of His Excellency the CEO of the General Authority for Food and Drug No. (21776/10) dated (11/5/2024 AD), regarding the immediate notification from the World Organization for Animal Health (WOAH) dated (4/20/1446 AH), which states that Newcastle disease has been controlled in the state of (RIO Grande do Sul) in the Federative Republic of Brazil.
Whereas the Authority’s decision No. (20941/10) dated (4/28/1446 AH) corresponding to (10/31/2024 AD) was issued regarding lifting the temporary ban imposed on the import of poultry meat, table eggs, their products and equipment from the state of (RIO Grande do Sul) in the Federative Republic of Brazil.
