Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards and informs you of receiving the letter of the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (43104975) dated (22/11/1443 AH), regarding the letter of the Food and Drug General Authority No. (28165/p) and dated (17/11/1443 AH), Regarding the precautionary measures taken by the authority following the warnings issued by the international network of authorities concerned with food safety, regarding the confirmation of contamination of Kinder chocolate products with salmonella bacteria, and the Belgian Food Safety Authority (AFSCA) By issuing orders to close the Kinder chocolate factory in Belgium, and as a precautionary measure to ensure food safety, we would like to inform you of the authority’s decision to temporarily suspend the import of Kinder products from the Arlon factory in Belgium, until the completion of the corrective process that meets all food safety regulations and requirements, The safety of the Belgian factory was proven.
