Gentlemen / importers of meat
Asharqia Chamber presents its best greetings to you, and would like to inform you of receiving the letter of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority No. (56906 / GS) dated (21/9/1439) on the issuance of the approval of the Authority to suspend the import of meat from the following establishments:
(M / s M.K Overseas (P) Ltd.), with the accreditation number (55).
M / s. H.A.A. Agro Industries Ltd., with the accreditation number (119).
(Frigrio Conserva Allana Private Ltd), with the accreditation number (121).
They showed repeated contamination of meat products with E. coli (0157). The suspension would be on until the regulatory bodies in the Republic of India provide the Authority with the results of the investigation of the microbiological contamination of the meat exported from these facilities to Saudi Arabia, including E. coli: 0157 contamination and the procedures followed by it to control it.
It is noteworthy that the Authority will refuse shipments shipped after the date (16/9/1439 e).
