Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards and informs you that it has received the letter from the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (44101917) and the date (10/5/1444 AH), and with reference to the letter of the General Authority for Transport No. (1/44/4806) and the date (7/5/1444 AH), which includes the regulation the organization for the activity of transporting goods, freight brokers, and leasing trucks on land roads, which stipulates in its thirty-first article that "the driver is required to meet the following requirements:
To have a valid general driving license issued in accordance with the traffic law and its implementing regulations.
To have a valid professional driver's card.
The authority would like to inform you of the issuance of a decision to start compelling the issuance of a professional driver’s card as of the date of (5/14/1444 AH), and the card is issued after fulfilling the following requirements:
The driver obtains a valid general driving license in accordance with traffic law and executive regulations. Currently, training for the general driving license and its medical examination are sufficient until the completion of the Authority's training project.
Ensure that the driver is linked to the unified identification number of the establishment licensed to practice the activity or the existence of a contractual relationship in the event that the driver obtains a permit from (Ajeer) to work in a specific establishment for a specific and temporary period of time.
The professional driver's card is valid for one year from the date of its issuance.
Establishments can issue the card through the (Naql) platform, by following the following steps:
Log in to the "Naql" platform via the link (naql.sa).
Click on the (Drivers Card) icon.
Click on the (issue card) driver icon.
Fill in the fields and attach the driver's photo.
Click on the (version) icon.
Accordingly, the federation would like to inform the necessity of issuing driver's cards before (5/14/1444 AH) in accordance with the requirements, and for more information and inquiries, you can contact the unified number of the Authority at (19929).
