Greetings,
Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards and informs you that it has received the letter of the Public Transport Authority No. (465/43/1) dated 16/1/1443 AH. Reference to Article Twenty-six and Paragraph No. (1) of Article Thirty-One of the Regulations Governing the Activity of Car Transport and Vehicle Towing issued by the decision of His Excellency the Minister of Transport and Logistics No. (11/41/1) dated (27/1/1441 AH), and amended by Ministerial Resolution No. (109/01) dated (9/8/1442 AH), and the mechanism for implementing those provisions issued by the decision of His Excellency the President of the Public Transport Authority No. (132/41/1) dated (13/5/1441 AH), which stipulated:: “The provision of this paragraph shall be applied from the date of the mandatory application determined by the Authority.”
Reference was also made to paragraphs (14,6) of Article (forty-four) and paragraph (1) of Article (sixty-fourth) of the regulations governing the activity of transporting goods, freight brokers, and renting trucks on land roads issued by the decision of His Excellency the Minister of Transport and Logistics No. (122/ 41/1) and the date (7/5/1441 AH), as amended by Ministerial Resolution No. (134/01) and the date (4/9/1442 AH), and the mechanism for implementing those provisions issued by the decision of His Excellency the President of the Public Transport Authority No. (1/29/42/1) and the date (01/06/1442 AH), which stipulates: “The carrier, the shipping broker and the person who works in transporting for the account are obligated to issue the electronic document containing all the required data through the “Bayan” portal or any electronic platform determined by the authority from the date of the mandatory application that determined by the Authority.
It was also referred to the decision of His Excellency the President of the Public Authority for Transport No. (5/43/1) dated (09/01/1443 AH), which states the following:
First: The use of the "transportation document" issued through the authority's electronic portal (Bayan) is mandatory for the licensee of the activity of the freight broker on land roads (goods relay offices).
Second: This decision shall be effective as of (15/09/2021AD).
Accordingly, the Public Transport Authority hopes the facilities licensed to practice the activity of a freight broker on land roads (goods relay offices) to work according to His Excellency's decision.
