Greetings,
Asharqia Chamber extends its warmest greetings to you and informs you of receiving a letter from the Saudi Chambers Union, number (45103035), dated (6/7/1445 AH). The letter refers to the letter from the Chamber of Commerce in Makkah, number (ص/2303/024/1), dated (5/7/1445 AH). The letter states the intention of partners in collaboration with the Saudi Food and Drug Authority and the Saudi Standards, Metrology, and Quality Organization to organize the "Makkah Halal Forum," under the gracious patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Commerce, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi.
The forum is part of the Manafea initiative and aims to shed light on economic diversity and non-oil GDP growth, aligning with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. The event will cover various sectors, including food and drugs, cosmetic products, information technology, tourism, and travel, among other fields. The forum is scheduled to take place from January 23 to 25, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at the Makkah Chamber Exhibition and Events Center in Al-Takhassusi district on Prince Mohammed bin Salman Road.
