Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best greetings, and would like to inform you of the letter of the Council of Saudi Chambers (L / 2095) dated 20/8 / 1440, which referred to the letter of the Chamber of Mecca No. (1373/1440) dated (19/8/1440) that is including the invitation of the Chamber to attend the "International Financial Standards Forum for SMEs" under the patronage of the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises on Wednesday (1 May 2019) from 12pm to 4 pm at the headquarter of Makkah.
The Forum aims at the overview of the IFRS for SMEs, as well as the needs of users of financial statements for small and medium-sized enterprises and considerations of utility compared to cost
The forum will discuss the following topics:
-Definition of the process of transition to international standards and the date of application.
-Informing the participants of the most important reasons for the shift from local Saudi standards to international standards.
-the establishments that are required to implement the full set of local standards and IFRS.
-Procedures for the application of international standards in small and medium enterprises.
-A discussion session to answer the audience's questions about the process of transition to international standards.
