Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards and informs you of receiving the letter of the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (43101841) dated (2/5/1443 AH), which includes the union’s receipt of the letter of the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization No. (1652) dated (26/4/1443 AH). Regarding the decision of the Authority’s Board of Directors at its meeting No. (161) held on (10/24/1438 AH), approving the technical regulations for the front, rear, and side barriers for trucks and trailers No. (MA 161-17-07-04), In continuation of the authority’s approach to strengthening effective partnership with government agencies and the private sector to improve the quality and safety of vehicles to protect the consumer and support the national economy, and the necessity of installing safety barriers for trucks and trailers in factories and workshops approved by the authority, while retaining the distinctive number card for safety barriers and highlighting it when subjected to the periodic technical examination.
