Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards, and informs you that it has received the letter of the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (44104064) and the date (9/25/1444 AH), in which it is indicated that the federation received the letter of the National Center for the Prevention and Control of Plant Pests and Animal Diseases No. (232473/104922/44) and the date (44/104922/232473). (9/18/1444 AH),And it includes the warning bulletin issued by the World Organization for Animal Health (WOAH), dated (3/10/2023 AD), which states that there are cases of equine infectious anemia in the Republic of Uruguay.
Whereas, a decision was issued by His Excellency the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Center for the Prevention and Control of Plant Pests and Animal Diseases No. (144/104922/232473) and the date (7/9/1444 AH), which includes imposing a temporary ban on the import of the equine species from the Republic of Uruguay due to a disease Equine infectious anemia.
Accordingly, all importers and interested parties are requested to work under this temporary ban.
