Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards and informs you that it has received the letter of the Food and Drug General Authority No. (21333/p) dated (18/8/1443 AH), Referring to the Food and Drug Authority's follow-up to international reports related to food safety in countries of the world, and based on reports issued by the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) stating the emergence of highly pathogenic avian influenza in the states of (Delaware) and (Kentucky) in the United States of America.

Accordingly, we would like to inform you of the issuance of the Commission’s Resolution No. (20838/s) dated (12/8/1443 AH), imposing a temporary ban on the import of poultry meat, table eggs, their products, and equipment from Delaware and Kentucky in the United States of America.​
