Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards and informs you that it has received the letter from the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (44103362) dated (10/8/1444 AH), in which reference is made to the federation receiving the letter from the National Center for Plant Pest Prevention No. (191880/104922/44) date (8/8/1444 AH), which includes the warning bulletin issued by the World Organization for Animal Health (WOAH), on (2/2/2023 AD), which states that there are infections with foot-and-mouth disease in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
Where the decision of the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Center for the Prevention and Control of Plant Pests and Animal Diseases (Waqaa) No. (191880/104922/1444) and the date (29/7/1444 AH) was issued, which includes imposing a temporary ban on the import of live livestock from the Kingdom of Jordan. Hashemite due to foot and mouth disease.
Accordingly, all importers and interested parties are requested to work under this temporary ban.
