The Chamber presents its compliments , this is to inform you that we received a letter from the General Authority for Food and Drug number ( 22375 /ب(ص)) dated ( 05/30/1435 ) , containing that based on the report of the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) number ( 14942 ) dated (12/ 3/2014 ) , corresponding to ( 11.05.1435 ) which states the focus of the emergence of bird flu high- pathogenic strain (H5N1) in the state of Tobruk, Libya , the Commission issued a decision No. ( 68/35 )dated ( 25/05/1435 )the evaluator imposed a temporary ban on the import of poultry meat and eggs and their products from Libya , because of an outbreak of avian influenza High ferocity which , with the exception of the temporary ban of poultry meat and eggs and their products treated thermally or in any other way is enough to end the avian influenza virus , to bematching the requirements and controls health and specifications approved standard , attach a health certificate to prove that the product is treated thermally or in any other way is enough to end the avian influenza virus , and to be issued by the competent official authorities in Libya , and continues to this temporary ban until the stability of the health status of livestock and adoption facilitiesthe export of poultry meat and products in them.
