Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards and informs you of receiving the letter of the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (44100674) dated (23/2/1444 AH), in which it is indicated that the union received the letter of the Public Transport Authority No. (1839/44/1) and dated (22/2/1444 AH), which includes In it paragraph (6) of Article (30) of the Regulation Governing Educational Transport Activity and paragraph (6) of Article (36) of the Regulation Governing Specialized Transport Activity and Bus Rental and Guidance which provides for "The bus shall conform with the approved technical specifications, conditions, and equipment" for licensors in the activities of educational transport, specialized transportation, rental and guidance of buses "The Authority wishes to note that it has endeavored to progressively implement the above to facilitate licensees in these activities. It has issued the gradual application of two-stage technical equipment as required by safety priorities, flight follow-up, and the nature of the market, as follows:
The first phase, starting from 1/12/2022 AD:
1/ Apply technical specifications, initial safety requirements, and general technical equipment only, except for vehicles of the year 2014 and less, except for the tracking system.
2/ When a new operating card is issued in the activity, all requirements, conditions, and general and special technical equipment for specialized transport and educational transport are applied (except for the outer color of the educational transport activity).
The second phase, starting from 22/6/2023 AD:
When a new operating card is issued in the activity or when it is renewed, all the requirements, conditions, and public and private technical equipment that mentioned the specifications and conditions are applied to the technical equipment of buses for specialized transport and educational transport (in addition to the external color).
