Gentlemen/importers of vegetables and fruits
Greetings,
Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards and informs you that it has received the letter of the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (43500071) dated (7/1/1443), a reference to the meeting of the National Committee for Agriculture and Fishing of the Federation of Saudi Chambers with His Excellency the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture to discuss the difficulties faced by importers of vegetables and fruits when Request to issue import licenses, and based on the approval of His Excellency, granting an exception to importers of vegetables and fruits from issuing the license for a period of three months starting from (1/1/1443), provided that companies wishing to obtain the deadline are obligated to write a pledge to abide by the conditions and controls during the coming period.
Therefore, the union hopes that the importers of vegetables and fruits from national companies will be provided with a list of the importers concerned, attached to the pledge and a copy of the commercial register of the facility, within a maximum of one week from its date, so that the union can submit the names of the importers requesting an exception to the Ministry to take the necessary action.
