Importers of beef and poultry meat and their products
Asharqia Chamber presents its greetings and informs you that it received a letter from the General Authority for Food and Drugs No. 21432 (p.), Dated 6/5/1439, which indicates that on the recommendation of the Technical Committee of the Commission, which visited the Republic of Brazil during the period from 6/7/1438, to (14/7 / 1438H) corresponding to (3-11 / 4/2017), applied the health certificates approved by the Commission for the Export of Beef, Meat and Poultry Products from Brazil to the Kingdom. Accordingly, the Commission decided to give the Brazilian side time to comply with the forms of health certificates approved by the Commission, provided that the application shall be mandatory as from 1/3/2018. In the event that if the Brazilian side fails to attach the agreed health certificates to the consignments of meat and meat products, the consignments of meat and meat products imported from the Republic of Brazil to the Kingdom are not permitted.
