The Chamber presents its compliments , this is to inform you that we received the letter of the Council of Saudi Chambers (ش.غ/2223) date (27/7/1435), referred to the letter of the Ministry of agriculture (300698) dated (7/7/1435) containing the functions of this Ministry to ensure the safety of the Kingdom's imports of fruits and vegetables, and through reports and test results obtained proved persistent infection of pepper from India, pesticides residues, and consequently, the Ministry of agriculture has issued resolution No. (294681) dated (5/7/1435) imposing A temporary ban on the import of all types of pepper fruits from India State as from the date (1/8/1435).
