Asharqia Chamber sends its warm regards and wishes to inform you that it has received a letter from the Saudi Chambers Union, numbered (45500971) and dated (29/2/1445 AH), in addition to the Union's letter numbered (4505156) and dated (2/12/1444 AH). The latter letter discussed the preparations being made by the General Secretariat of the Union of Chambers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States and the General Union of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce for the organization of the "First Egyptian Gulf Business Forum" at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Cairo during the period from November 22 to 23, 2023. The letter mentions the following points regarding the challenges and trade obstacles facing Saudi investors in Egypt and the coordination between the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Chambers of Commerce and the General Union of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce in organizing the above-mentioned forum:
The forum aims to open promising investment opportunities in the Arab Republic of Egypt, considering it the main gateway to Europe, Africa, and Asia, with promising investment opportunities.
The forum will discuss several key topics, including various industrial sectors, real estate and tourism investment, information technology, petroleum, gas, petrochemicals, gold, jewelry, mining, transportation, logistics, banks, and sovereign wealth funds.
The forum will involve prominent Egyptian and Gulf business owners, investors, and government officials from various ministries.
