The EastChamberpresents its compliments,this is to inform you that we received a letter from theCouncil of Saudi Chambersnumber(ش.غ/1123) dated(04/09/1436),referreditto theletter ofthe Ministry of Tradeand IndustryNo.(267/9/1/1280/ع)dated(03/17/1436)the ministryobservedthepresence ofexplosiverice(3)kgwrittenwith the words(Zakatal-Fitr)are marketedwithnearFitrseason,andsome of thosepackagescontainingrice varietieswithlow quality,has alreadyreceivedcomplaintssomeof thecharitiesthatthosequalitiesprovided to it byZakatbottledmushroomsof poorqualitiesof lower qualityandit is notacceptablefor distribution toneedy familiesandgroupsdue to theZakat.
Because thericeat the momentis the mostvarietiesusedfor Zakahin the Kingdom andevennot linkedqualitiesriceleastqualityandcheap, the ministrycommittedrice importersnot to writewords(Zakatal-Fitr)oncontainersof riceanddo not allocatecontainers(3)kgto mobilizeitemslower qualityorcheap.
The Councilhopesoftraders andimportersto abide bytherestrictionnot to writewords(Zakatal-Fitr)oncontainersof riceandnon-allocation ofcontainers(3)kgfor the mobilization oflow-qualityrice varieties, to bedoes notmake wayanyexplosiveoffenseto thateffectwas(05/01/1436).
