Greeting from the Chamber, this is to inform you that we received a letter by the Council of Saudi Chambers (ش.غ /3204) dated (1434-9-9) and referred to the letter of the General Customs (70176) dated (1434/8/24), containing the report that according to the profession customs clearance instruction manual, it is not permissible to combine the profession of customs clearance with import and export business in any capacity and in any form, whether individually or as a company, institution or by any other customs, import and export for personal account or to the detriment of others , this mechanism will be applied to prevent duplication in the profession .
Customs brokers will be given a month time limit until (1434-9/25) to correct the situation.
