Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards and informs you that it has received the letter of the Council of Saudi Chambers No. (PG / 1510) and the date (1/7 / 1441H), and referred to in the letter of the Saudi Organization for Standardization, Metrology and Quality No. (5673 / p / y) and date (6/25/1441 AH), regarding the organization of the commission issued by Cabinet Resolution No. (216) dated (17/6/1431 AH), and to what was stated in the articles: the third, fourth and fifth of the regulation that includes “that the authority is concerned with setting and approving texts of standard specifications and publishing these specifications In the ways that the authority sees in its efforts to ensure the quality of national products and enable national products to compete in the local and international markets To protect the Kingdom’s markets from counterfeit and counterfeit goods. “The Authority reports that the Authority’s Board of Directors at its meeting No. (172), held on (12/28/1440 AH), raised the conformity assessment procedure to the fifth level (Type 5) Saudi Quality Mark for the following products, which are :
1- Iron plate products:
Included in the Technical Regulations for Building Materials, Part 1: Metals and Alloy Castings for Construction No. (CE-172-2019-07).
2- Aluminum composite panel products for exterior finishes and interior finishes:
Included in the Technical Regulations for Building Materials, Part Two - Spinning and Building Cladding Materials No. (CE -172-2019-08).
This talk was published in the Official Gazette on (1/5/1441) and will enter into force on the date (1/11/1441).
