Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards and informs you that it has received the e-mail from the Council of Saudi Chambers, in which the Arab Federation of Chambers Letter No. (A / G / 159) and the date (04/23/2020) are mentioned, regarding the intention of the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development to establish an emergency mechanism aimed to contribute to the provision of food products in the Arab countries and to increase the inter-Arab trade of those products through the companies they contribute to or other companies, as well as to provide the quantities of surplus available for export between Arab countries and other countries.
This initiative aims to confront the risks of a shortage in food supplies and ensure the continuity of the provision of goods and food in the Arab countries, with the aim of reducing the effects and repercussions of the Coronavirus, and the risks to which the agricultural sector, food, and global supply chains may be exposed.
